Top SchoolJoseph Schlesinger is an entrepreneurial engineering leader with 14 years of experience building and scaling IoT backend and access control platforms across consumer, enterprise, and manufacturing domains. He combines hands-on firmware and cloud engineering with strategic team building, having led international teams through NPIs and scaled systems from thousands to hundreds of thousands of devices monthly. At companies like Skydio and Latch he drove dramatic reliability and deployment improvements—raising uptime to 99%, slashing CI/CD outages, and reducing support burden through virtualization, automation, and observability. He’s comfortable operating across the stack—from ARM firmware and robotics test rigs to petabyte-scale logging, Terraform-driven infrastructure, and analytics for yield optimization. Equally at ease in startup and enterprise contexts, Joseph has a track record of revitalizing teams via mentorship, clear roadmaps, and process rigor, and has lived and built supply chains in Shenzhen, giving him rare operational depth in manufacturing software.
