Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoseph Vorbeck is a Lead UI Developer with 11 years of front-end experience building responsive, user-focused web applications across media, finance, and real estate sectors. He has progressed from NBCUniversal front-end roles through advisory engineering at IBM Design to leadership positions at Lab49, Anywhere Real Estate, and currently Compass International Holdings, bringing both hands-on React/JavaScript skill and product-minded UI architecture. A New Jersey City University computer science graduate, he’s comfortable scaling interfaces for large enterprise systems and mentoring teams through complex design and accessibility challenges. Known humorously on GitHub as a "professional computer toucher," he pairs pragmatic engineering with a long track record of shipping polished customer-facing experiences. An often-overlooked strength is his cross-disciplinary experience in design-oriented engineering work on zSystems, which informs his emphasis on usable, maintainable UI components.
