Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoseph Ziegler is a Senior Systems Engineer with ~9 years of hands-on experience building and operating large, highly available corporate infrastructures for tens of thousands of users across multi-region environments. He’s proven at scaling configuration management (Puppet at 1,700+ nodes), migrating services to cloud and Kubernetes, and automating operational plumbing with Python, Bash, Terraform and IaC to cut deployment times and reduce cost. Comfortable under pressure, he has led SRE teams, owned corporate DNS and authentication services, and delivered cross-functional migrations with near-zero downtime. A lifelong tinkerer, he runs his own hosting and infrastructure consultancy and even applies systems-thinking to unexpected domains (ask about his senior-staff chicken-farming side project). Based in Roseburg, OR, Joseph combines deep Linux/networking expertise with a track record of mentoring engineers and shipping durable, automated infrastructure.
