Top SchoolJosh Beckman is a technical founder and software leader with 11 years of experience building scalable, revenue-generating products and engineering teams from the ground up. He has led architecture and growth at startups and high-growth companies—most recently founding Narro, a microservice-based podcasting product that proved profitable and became a sandbox for experimenting with languages, deployment, and retention strategies. At OfficeLuv and ThreadMeUp he hired and mentored teams, shipped real-time collaborative marketplaces and ETL/ML-backed analytics, and scaled systems to multi-million dollar run rates on lean budgets. His hands-on stack spans Node.js, Ruby, Go, React, and multiple databases, with deep experience in API-first and microservice architectures. Based in Chicago, he pairs product intuition with operational rigor and a knack for turning commuter-side projects into sustainable businesses. An atypical detail: he combines software leadership with visual storytelling and emergency medical operations experience, reflecting practical crisis management and creative instincts.
