Top SchoolJosh Bowers is an Infrastructure Engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building and operating scalable, highly available web and application hosting environments. He has led IaC migrations and cloud uplifts—replacing legacy tooling with Terraform/Terragrunt and moving colo workloads to AWS—while managing CDN, TLS, and DNS concerns at Linden Lab and supporting Smartcar’s vehicle API platform. Josh combines deep ops skills (Packer, Puppet, ELK, Datadog) with development fluency in XQuery, JavaScript, Python, and R, and a strong interest in data modeling and algorithms. His career spans startups and midsize teams where he consistently improves deployability and cost-efficiency through automation and monitoring. Based in Oceanside, CA, he pairs practical SRE instincts with a curiosity for applying data-centric approaches to infrastructure problems. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic architecture recommendations that balance reliability, security, and operational simplicity.
