Senior🎓
Top SchoolJosh Crompton is a Senior Software Engineer with 13 years’ experience designing and operating full-stack systems and APIs using Python, TypeScript and AWS. He has delivered production services at scale—most recently helping an EV charging platform grow to nearly 10,000 chargers—building soft real-time back ends, React/React Native front ends, and resilient deployment patterns on Fargate and DynamoDB. Comfortable as a solo contributor, mentor or technical lead, he brings pragmatic DevOps, TDD and OpenAPI practices to reduce incidents and improve deployment velocity. His background spans migrating desktop licensing to cloud entitlements, embedded C test automation, and open-source Django tooling, showing a rare mix of low-level systems thinking and cloud-native architecture. Based in Canterbury, New Zealand, he pairs strong technical decision-making with a track record of collaborating across external partners to launch integrations such as vehicle and energy-retailer integrations.
