👤
SeniorJosh David is a software development consultant with eight years of experience specializing in APL-based solutions for data mining, optimization, modeling, and full-stack development at Dyalog Ltd. He brings rapid-prototyping expertise from an array-oriented language to R&D and production systems, leading several globally deployed applications and driving performance and DevOps improvements. A University of Scranton computer science graduate, he combines practical industry consulting with a history of competitive programming success and public speaking on niche topics like statistical libraries, cross-platform GUIs, and domain-specific tooling. He maintains open-source projects on GitHub and has founded a consulting venture, demonstrating both hands-on engineering and entrepreneurial initiative. Unusually for a consultant, he translates highly mathematical array techniques into accessible, production-grade software and visualizations used in real-world decision making.
