Top SchoolJosh Delsman is a senior Site Reliability Engineer with 11+ years of experience building resilient, cost-efficient cloud infrastructure across startups and large firms including AWS, Sprout Social, Moovweb and NinjaTrader. He combines hands-on engineering—designing CI/CD pipelines, global Kubernetes networks, and bespoke edge CDNs—with leadership in incident response, security best practices, and mentoring junior engineers. Notable wins include migrating brittle kOps clusters to EKS to boost delivery velocity, cutting Moovweb AWS spend by over 75% while standing up a global Kubernetes footprint in under six months, and automating expensive repetitive tasks to improve developer focus. Josh favors pragmatic automation and observability (Prometheus, Datadog), drives Terraform-first platform work, and regularly evangelizes containerization and onboarding improvements that materially shorten ramp time. Based in Chicago, he balances deep technical craft with a collaborative, people-first approach to scaling engineering teams.
