Senior🎓
Top SchoolJosh Dersch is a Senior Engine Programmer with nearly two decades of systems-level software experience, currently building game engines and tools at ArenaNet. He brings deep expertise in C, C++, C#, assembly (x86/ARM), and kernel/embedded work, honed at Microsoft on Windows printing and at Living Computers where he reverse-engineered and built cycle-accurate emulators for historic machines. Comfortable across Windows, Unix variants, and vintage OSes, he pairs low-level debugging and hardware repair skills with modern agile development practices. Josh has a proven track record shipping durable infrastructure—drivers, device interfaces, and tooling—and even creates modern network and hardware interfaces for antique systems, a niche that highlights both technical breadth and curiosity.
