Top SchoolJosh Duffney is a Senior Cloud Advocate at Microsoft with 11 years of hands-on systems, SRE and DevOps experience across Windows and Linux environments, focused on cloud reliability and automation. He combines a developer’s mindset with deep operational chops—authoring Pluralsight courses, creating the open-source InvokeDSC PowerShell module, and presenting at industry conferences. His background includes leading CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code efforts at Paylocity and Site Reliability work at Stack Overflow, where he reduced manual toil and sped deployments using DSC, Octopus, and TeamCity. Josh holds Azure and AWS certifications, maintains an active technical blog, and is passionate about applying SRE principles to public cloud transformations. A less obvious strength: he consistently turns repetitive operational work into reusable tooling and learning content, both internally and for the broader community.
