Top SchoolJosh Hargreaves is a Senior Software Engineer with 12 years’ experience building infrastructure for front-end applications, currently driving TV platform engineering at Netflix in New York. He designs and optimizes low-level systems across audio, graphics, memory, performance tracking, integration testing, build systems, WebGPU and WASM, and recently helped deliver a low-latency audio/video player for Netflix’s game streaming on TVs. Prior roles at Bloomberg spanned full-stack and mobile engineering for Bloomberg Professional and Terminal products, giving him a pragmatic blend of client-facing UX concerns and systems-level performance work. Josh combines a formal MEng in Computer Science with hands-on C/C++/C# experience from early placements, and he’s now focused on a new graphics system intended to underpin the entire Netflix app. Known for tackling device-constrained challenges (TV sticks, embedded systems, cable boxes), he brings a rare mix of cross-platform embedded savvy and front-end infrastructure expertise.
