Top SchoolJosh Johnson is a consultant and information systems infrastructure architect with eight years of professional experience designing secure, automated data centers and ground systems for unmanned aerospace and defense programs. He blends hands-on avionics and field engineering roots with enterprise-grade expertise in VMware, Cisco, Oracle, and hardened multi-domain deployments, having led ground-segment architecture and automated COTS infrastructure at Northrop Grumman. Josh has a Master’s in Architecture-Based Enterprise Systems Engineering and a track record of translating complex aerospace requirements into repeatable frameworks, shared services, and deployment automation. He holds an inactive US DOD Top Secret/SCI clearance and practical certifications in avionics, fiber optics, and radio operations, reflecting deep operational as well as systems knowledge. Known for mentoring junior engineers and writing engineering-level documentation, he also consults on integrating unmanned ground and air systems and secure IP networking for commercial and defense clients. Based in Kentucky, he combines field-proven avionics troubleshooting with strategic architecture design—an unusual pairing that speeds delivery of resilient, mission-ready infrastructure.
