👤
SeniorJosh Malone is an inventor, product developer, and engineering executive with 11+ years of entrepreneurial and hands-on product design experience, currently serving as Inventor Fellow at US Inventor and running Tinnus Enterprises. He led the end-to-end development, crowdfunding, and licensing of Bunch O Balloons—raising nearly $1M on Kickstarter and selling millions of units—demonstrating an ability to turn prototypes into high-volume consumer products. His background spans mechanical engineering, DFM, process engineering, and IP strategy, grounded in earlier semiconductor reliability and DLP process work at Texas Instruments where he published papers and patents. Josh combines ROI-driven management skills (forecasting, VC engagement, hiring, budgeting) with deep technical fluency in CAD, mechanisms, and manufacturing technologies. A tinkerer at heart, he’s also a Linux sysadmin and vintage computing/chiptune enthusiast, reflecting a lifelong curiosity about systems both physical and digital. He seeks roles as a product design consultant, engineering manager, or startup executive where pragmatic improvement and clever reuse of existing ideas drive innovation.
