Josh Mccann is a pragmatic full‑stack Software Engineer III with seven years of experience building and stabilizing mobile-first products at J.B. Hunt, where he led full-stack initiatives spanning React Native, TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot, and message-driven systems. He combines hands-on feature delivery—like a seal-confirmation workflow that reduced claims exposure—with strong incident leadership, test-driven quality improvements, and observability-driven operations. A former DevMountain instructor and mentor, he brings a teacher’s clarity to design docs, sprint planning, and raising team engineering standards. Based in Bentonville, he favors practical, scalable solutions (from image upload pipelines to API integrations) and is continually expanding his stack while mentoring teammates and improving cross-team collaboration.
