Top SchoolJosh Mcfarlin is a full-stack software engineer with eight years of experience building reliable, production-grade systems across startups and large tech companies. He’s shipped backend, frontend, and observability features at companies like Replit, Expo, Microsoft, and as a day-one engineer at Superagent (acquired by Airtable), often focusing on secure authentication, streaming APIs, and tooling for complex data workflows. Josh has a track record of integrating OIDC/SSO, designing audit and re-auth flows, and architecting real-time streaming solutions that surface AI agent activity to users. He pairs strong backend design (Python, Redis, serverless) with hands-on React front-end work and data engineering into BigQuery for analytics. Based in Atlanta but Bay Area–experienced, he combines startup speed with enterprise rigor and a knack for building developer-facing tools that reveal hidden system behavior.
