Senior🎓
Top SchoolJosh Schlick is a senior frontend engineer with 11 years of experience building data-intensive web applications using TypeScript, React, and modern state management like Redux and RTK Query. He has a proven track record of leading and mentoring small teams, modernizing legacy JavaScript codebases to TypeScript, and delivering well-tested, performant single-page applications. Josh pairs a strong front-end toolkit (Storybook, Jest, Webpack) with practical API design and data-visualization instincts, having optimized schemas in collaboration with backend teams. Based in Bozeman, Montana, he moves comfortably between hands-on coding and technical specification writing, and has helped establish internal component libraries that scale across organizations. A subtle strength is his experience translating complex, high-volume data needs into elegant UX—making dense information accessible and actionable for users.
