Top SchoolJoshua Amy is an IB Design and computer science educator with eight years of experience crafting MYP and DP-aligned curricula and leading hands-on projects that blend Tinkercad, Python, and Adobe Creative Suite. He bridges classroom pedagogy and technical practice—mentoring student portfolios, running cross-grade design-computer science collaborations, and running workshops in 3D modeling and coding. Previously he built and grew a developer community for a peer-to-peer computing startup, handling outreach, documentation, light engineering (Node.js bots, blockchain data pulls) and content production. A former Marine who has lived and taught across Japan, Turkey, and China, he brings disciplined project management, multilingual cultural fluency, and a passion for decentralized systems to education. Outside school he pursues distance running and language study, regularly competing in half and full marathons while studying French, Chinese, and Turkish.
