Top SchoolJoshua Austill is a front-end-focused software engineer and manager with 11 years of experience building React.js UIs and full-stack web applications, complemented by a solid background in T-SQL, ETL, reporting, and schema design. He has shipped production systems from intranet platforms on MongoDB/Node.js to web 2.0 file managers with separated UI and API layers, and has authored utility libraries such as a semaphore for ES6 promises. Joshua has held senior and staff roles at fintech and health-tech companies, led engineering teams as a Software Development Manager, and now applies both technical and operational skills as the owner of a small business in Montana. He brings a pragmatic, hands-on approach to problems, frequently moving between frontend code, APIs, and data work to get things done. Outside of engineering he values family and deliberately balances entrepreneurship with technical leadership, noticing market inefficiencies such as fraud in his current industry.
