Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoshua Falk is a Business Intelligence Statistical Analyst and senior data scientist with a decade of experience translating statistical research into production ML systems across search ranking, recommendations, LTV prediction, causal inference, and privacy techniques. He has driven measurable product impact—most notably contributing models that generated roughly $18M/year in additional revenue at Gopuff—and has experience migrating large-scale recommendation infrastructures. With MS degrees in Statistics and Linguistics from the University of Chicago and a background in computational linguistics, he blends rigorous statistical methodology with practical ML engineering to solve messy, real-world business problems. Comfortable across ETL, productionization, and survey weighting, he also brings a curiosely interdisciplinary perspective as a linguist and contributing editor, which informs his data-driven approach to user-facing systems.
