Top SchoolJoshua Goodwin is a software engineer with 11 years of professional experience and four years focused on object-oriented development using C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, and SQL/KQL. A US Air Force veteran, he combines operational discipline with cloud engineering expertise, having standardized Azure onboarding and saved over 500 hours annually through automation. At Microsoft he designed an automated workflow and ARM-based solutions that cut onboarding effort and led a zero-downtime migration of 45,000+ VMs to prevent service outages. He’s experienced in incident response and telemetry-driven monitoring, reducing time-to-mitigate for sev-2+ incidents to under four hours on average. Now at Fanatics Betting & Gaming and pursuing an MS in Computer Science, he pairs hands-on delivery with a knack for turning manual, error-prone processes into repeatable, documented automation. Notably, his background in Air Force manpower analysis gives him an unusual strength in data-driven operational decision-making alongside software craftsmanship.
