Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoshua Jenkins is a Senior Engineer with 14 years of hands-on experience blending aerospace mission design and software/tool development, currently applying that mix at CFD Research Corporation. Trained in aerospace GN&C (MS, Virginia Tech), he has led trajectory and real-time launch-monitoring efforts at United Launch Alliance, bringing complex orbital mechanics into practical, in-house simulation and automation workflows. Proficient in MATLAB, Python, Linux tooling, STK/AGI, and computer vision/3D rendering, he focuses on reducing learning curves, embedding validation, and scaling repeatable processes. Josh pairs big-picture systems thinking with shop-floor grit—he’s comfortable moving from mission planning to welding a prototype—and has a TEDx talk mindset that small solutions compound into transformative outcomes. Based in Toms Brook, VA, he’s equally driven by spacecraft autonomy and building developer-friendly tooling to make complex engineering accessible.
