Top SchoolJoshua Mims is a product development professional with a decade of hands-on experience spanning independent research, operations leadership, and applied engineering. With dual degrees in Physics and Philosophy, he blends rigorous analytical thinking with practical project management and systems design—skills sharpened further by recent certificates in Python, SQL, and Google Project Management. He has led operations and product initiatives at startups and small companies while independently developing neural networks, electromechanical systems, CAD designs, and documented manufacturing processes. Joshua’s background in lab research produced published work and a patented engineering model, reflecting a pattern of turning experimental ideas into buildable solutions. After a personal caregiving hiatus, he returned with renewed focus on scalable product development and process optimization using Lean and Six Sigma approaches. Based in Huntington Beach, he seeks roles that challenge his interdisciplinary strengths and offer real-world opportunities to grow.
