Senior🎓
Top SchoolJoshua Seagrave is a Field Sales Engineer with nine years' experience bringing photonics solutions to academia, core facilities, and research bodies across the UK, currently growing territory revenue at Laser 2000. He combines a First Class MPhys in Physics (specialising in Quantum Mechanics and Astrophysics) with hands-on product and commercial expertise, having driven a 200% uplift in laser safety product sales and lifted his territory to 145% of target in his first year as account manager. Comfortable translating complex scientific applications—from quantum experiments to space communications and cancer imaging—into customer-focused solutions, he is equally adept at supplier management and technical training. Based in Peterborough, he pairs competitive drive from national-level rowing (50+ wins) and club leadership with a wry, "catastrophically British" sense of humour that helps him build long-lasting relationships across the photonics community.
