Senior🎓
Top SchoolJosiah Burchard is a senior engineering manager with 11 years of experience delivering scalable mortgage and fintech platforms, currently leading 12 engineers at ICE in St. Louis. He blends hands-on engineering—building microservice data pipelines, React micro-frontends, and Canvas-based user tools—with people leadership, onboarding and upskilling teams after acquisition. Josiah has repeatedly taken products from startup to acquisition, having led NexSpring’s LoanCatcher from day one through sale to Black Knight while growing and mentoring full-stack teams. He has deep practical experience with AWS serverless, Java Spring Boot, Angular/React, Postgres and search technologies like Solr, and a track record of cutting operational costs through user-centric automation. Notably, he designed a spreadsheet-ingestion Canvas app that reduced critical labor costs by 90% and built multi-tenant techniques for traditionally single-tenant mortgage systems. He combines entrepreneurial product intuition with disciplined delivery and observability practices to ship reliable, client-focused systems at scale.
