Top SchoolJoy Chetry is a founder and lead developer with eight years of experience building web products at the intersection of design, branding, and strategy from Pune, India. As founder of Classic Monks she led product strategy and shipped 265+ features across performance, security, WooCommerce and Bricks Builder, growing the plugin to 120+ customers and a projected $220K ARR. She previously co-founded GoodMonks and spent five years as an independent web designer/developer and strategist helping startups and media bring products to life. Joy blends hands-on engineering with UX-driven product thinking—she designed Quick WordPress Setup, a full WooCommerce coupon engine and 50+ Bricks elements that demonstrate a knack for consolidating toolchains into cohesive platforms. Comfortable wearing both founder and maker hats, she focuses on practical automation and workflow improvements that reduce tool sprawl and speed time-to-market. Her background in computer science from MIT Academy of Engineering underpins a disciplined, product-first approach to building extensible WordPress ecosystems.
