Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolJuan Fernandez is a seasoned software engineer and Odoo ERP consultant with 11+ years building Java-based web applications and cloud-native microservices using Spring Boot, WebFlux and modern CI/CD practices. He combines hands-on backend expertise (Java, Hibernate, PostgreSQL) with cloud operational experience across Heroku, AWS, Azure and IBM Cloud, having improved batch throughput and stabilized complex legacy ecosystems under pressure. Comfortable as an autonomous contributor or technical lead, he has repeatedly taken ownership of opaque systems—reverse-engineering code and databases without documentation to deliver tailored migrations and integrations. His background in live-event technical direction and regulatory compliance (LOPD) gives him a practical edge in risk-aware delivery and logistical coordination for high-stakes projects. Juan prioritizes delivering immediate client value by learning the domain first and applying creative reinterpretations of constraints to find pragmatic solutions. Based in Madrid, he blends solid engineering discipline with a collaborative, humble approach that scales from solo builds to leading multidisciplinary teams.
