Summary
👤
SeniorJuan Zúñiga is a software engineer with eight years of experience building scalable full-stack products, currently contributing to Juni Learning’s Acely AI, an AI-driven tutoring platform used by over 100,000 students. He combines hands-on front-end and back-end skills (React, TypeScript, NodeJS, Go, Rust, Python) with practical AI/LLM integration experience—building assistants, vector stores, prompt engineering, and multi-agent systems—to improve educational outcomes. Previously he led technical improvements and DevOps automation at startups like Leasey.AI and Truora, reducing technical debt and shipping performance-critical features. As the first Latin American hire on his current product team, he has driven LATAM expansion and built multi-test platforms, analytics, and scoring engines for SAT/ACT prep. Outside engineering he organizes youth leadership initiatives for an NGO in Colombia and channels creative problem solving into music and hockey—an unusual combination that fuels his collaborative approach.
