Juergen Kienhoefer is a veteran technology entrepreneur and instructor with 15 years of professional experience and over two decades building long-range Bluetooth products and industrial wireless systems. As founder and former CEO of Wireless Cables Inc. (AIRcable) and current Managing Partner at AIRcable LLC, he has turned niche radio expertise into commercial BLE modules that extend device range by an order of magnitude for industrial, medical, and consumer use. He now brings that hands-on hardware and systems background to teaching embedded systems and Linux system programming at UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, where he will launch an AI for Embedded Systems course in 2025. Juergen combines a strong academic foundation (Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science from KIT) with practical productization experience, uniquely bridging research-grade knowledge and real-world radio engineering.
