Senior🎓
Top SchoolJuergen Sommer is a seasoned technology and sustainability leader with 19 years of experience translating complex IT strategies into commercially resilient, sustainable business models. He combines deep enterprise SAP and alliance expertise from roles at Red Hat, SUSE and HPE with hands-on transformation practice, advising and structuring solution-oriented go-to-market models. Today he works as a keynote speaker, workshop expert and lecturer on Twin Transformation—helping organisations fuse digitalisation, AI leadership and resource-efficient sustainability into new revenue streams. His approach draws on three decades of IT leadership and an MBA in strategy and corporate governance, applying the metaphor of sustainable gardening to practical corporate growth. Notably, he focuses on compliance-driven risk areas (NIS2, AI Act, DSGVO) where executive liability and operational change intersect—making legal, technical and commercial considerations tangible for executives. Based in the Greater Nuremberg area, he blends academic teaching with practitioner-driven workshops and a forthcoming book on sustainable transformation.
