Top SchoolJulia Conzon is a GIS Program Manager and Technical Lead with a decade of experience designing community-led, equity-focused geospatial systems across government, academia, and Indigenous Nations in Canada. She blends technical depth in spatial data engineering, web mapping, and machine learning-enabled data collection with hands-on product delivery—building web apps, dashboards, and secure geoprocessing workflows using PostGIS, Node.js, R, Python and modern mapping stacks. Her work spans operational programs from disaster mapping and spatial accessibility modeling to participatory sea-ice monitoring in Nunavut, where she co-developed training and tools that respect Inuit data sovereignty. Julia is known for translating complex spatial science into usable tools and capacity-building for local communities, not just technical outputs. She brings a curious, place-informed perspective shaped by growing up in British Columbia’s mountains, which informs her collaborative approach to Indigenous data governance and community co-production.
