Top SchoolJulian Jocque is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable backend systems and automation across fintech and healthcare tech. He has a track record of turning high-latency data paths into sub-second responses and saving thousands of labor hours through serverless automation and realtime integrations with systems like Netsuite. At Honor he led serverless templates and process automation that cut LTCI claims and payroll work dramatically, and at Pave he rebuilt core data access patterns and authored a reusable integration test suite. Comfortable owning projects end-to-end, he’s also regularly mentored engineers, modernized documentation practices, and contributed to recruiting and onboarding. Based in Chicago, he blends pragmatic performance engineering with a focus on reliability and developer productivity. A background in computer vision research and parallelization hints at a long-standing taste for algorithmic efficiency beyond day-to-day backend work.
