Top SchoolJulian Li is a Staff Engineer based in Melbourne with 11 years building resilient, cloud-native systems and a track record of shipping both product and platform features across e-commerce, payments, and enterprise SaaS. AWS and Kubernetes certified, he blends backend engineering with DevOps and CI/CD best practices—having implemented full testing pipelines, containerisation, message-queue workers and integrations with third-party APIs. He founded trendshift.io and onedump, showing a builder mindset beyond day-to-day engineering, and brings a pragmatic emphasis on understanding the "why" behind systems rather than just the "how." Julian has led teams and consultancy engagements, driving coding standards and measurable quality improvements like 100% unit test coverage on a payments platform. Currently at REA Group, he continues to focus on scalable architectures and operational excellence while mentoring engineers on robust delivery patterns.
