Top SchoolJulian Ramirez is a Semi Senior Software Engineer with six years of experience building scalable backend systems and data pipelines, currently contributing to Mercado Libre’s Credits unit. He specializes in Python and Golang for distributed model deployment, CI/CD, and automation on GCP and AWS, and has driven measurable impact—like a centralized model orchestrator that slashed maintenance effort by 90% and stopped monthly data loss. Julian has a strong pragmatic streak: he automated model artifact validation, optimized BigQuery ETLs to save $12k/month, and created CLI tooling that cut runtime by 83% for a 50-person team. Earlier full‑stack work at MachEight and teaching assistant roles sharpened his SQL, Django/React, and mentoring skills while improving system reliability and student outcomes. A competitive coder with top‑20 finishes in ICPC and national contests, he blends algorithmic rigor with production-grade engineering. Based in Medellín and academically strong (4.6/5.0 CS degree), he’s focused on operationalizing ML at scale and reducing waste in data systems.
