Top SchoolJulian Wills is a senior Quantitative User Researcher with 18 years of experience blending rigorous data science and behavioral science to inform product decisions at Google’s Search team and previously at Facebook. With a PhD in social psychology and a quantitative minor from NYU, he specializes in large-scale data analysis—from social media “big data” to neuroimaging—to surface actionable insights about user behavior. He brings a rare mix of academic rigor and product-facing impact, translating complex statistical results into clear recommendations for design and ranking. Based in New York, Julian’s background in cognitive science and early systems internships gives him fluency across research, tooling, and implementation, enabling him to partner effectively with engineers and PMs. Notably, his trajectory from neuroimaging and moral psychology research into industry-scale UX measurement underscores a talent for applying deep-domain methods to real-world product problems.
