Top SchoolJulie Moronuki is a founder and educator with 11 years of experience specializing in Haskell education, technical writing, and developer training. As cofounder of Typeclasses, LLC and lead author of the Joy of Haskell and Haskell Programming from First Principles, she builds subscription learning products and consults on documentation and pedagogy for functional programmers. Julie combines a linguistics MA with deep practical Haskell expertise, bringing a teacher’s empathy to complex compiler and type-system concepts. Known as a “Haskell den mom,” she mentors learners from beginners to advanced users and shapes curricula that scale across skill levels. Her work blends hands-on authorship, community-driven pedagogy, and a knack for making abstract type theory approachable. Based in Atlanta, she pairs entrepreneurial drive with a rare mix of writing craft and technical depth.
