Senior🎓
Top SchoolJulien Letessier is a veteran product engineer and technology leader with 14+ years building scalable backends, distributed systems, and high-growth engineering teams across European startups. He has led architecture and platform evolution at hyper-growth companies (Deliveroo, HouseTrip) and served as CTO/Head of Engineering at Peanut, combining hands-on coding with people and product leadership. Comfortable across Ruby, Go, Rust, Node.js and Python, he designs resilient, event-driven systems and practical developer tooling that reduce technical debt and accelerate delivery. Currently contributing as a full-stack product engineer at FetLife, he balances privacy-sensitive social product work with platform-level reliability. A former founder and INRIA research engineer with a PhD background, Julien brings uncommon depth in computer vision, systems architecture and operational leadership. Based in Grenoble and 80% remote, he prefers telework-friendly, high-growth funded companies where he can be both an individual contributor and a strategic engineering coach.
