👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolJulien Roch is a product-minded software engineer with 11 years of experience building backend systems, machine learning pipelines and recommender engines for scale, now leading product at FenuaStay from French Polynesia. He blends deep Java, Node.js and Python expertise with practical knowledge of databases, distributed architectures and CI/CD—having designed SOA/microservice platforms, REST APIs and custom ESBs across telecom and hospitality domains. Julien has hands-on ML experience in text processing, named-entity extraction and news recommendation from roles at Plex and Watchup, and applies that data-driven perspective to product decisions. He has repeatedly owned end-to-end technical delivery as a senior/architecture specialist and technical lead, including SSO/Keycloak, load balancing and containerized deployments. Comfortable switching between low-level systems work and product strategy, he’s known for turning complex enterprise requirements into pragmatic, maintainable solutions. Based in French Polynesia, he brings a global engineering background with a strong bias for production-ready, user-focused features.
