Summary
👤
SeniorJulien Siebert is a Senior AI Expert with 11 years of experience at the intersection of AI, complex systems, and software engineering, currently leading AI and data science R&D at Fraunhofer IESE. He combines a strong academic foundation—a PhD in multi-agent and multi-scale modeling—with applied industry experience from roles at Zalando and research institutes, delivering solutions in distributed learning, collective behaviour modeling, and production-ready data engineering. Julien’s background in nonlinear dynamical systems and synchronization gives him a rare lens for designing AI that emerges from simple interacting components rather than monolithic models. Comfortable shipping across the stack (from equation solvers and simulation code to cloud-based APIs and DevOps), he bridges theoretical insight with pragmatic implementation. Based in Kaiserslautern, he brings an experimental, curiosity-driven approach to scaling intelligent, distributed systems.
