Top SchoolJulio Fernandes is a seasoned software expert and mobile architect with over a decade of experience building and scaling iOS teams and products across Brazil. He led the creation and rapid expansion of XP Investimentos’ mobile organization—growing a 4-person team into a tribe and ultimately providing technical leadership for more than 130 mobile engineers while designing architectures and CI/CD pipelines for multi-brand deployments. Currently at Mercado Livre and mentoring at DevPass, he blends hands-on Swift/Objective‑C expertise (including watchOS and tvOS) with people management, release management, and monorepo-level platform optimization that improved efficiency and DevOps usage. He has a track record of shipping large banking and investment apps, driving a 30% efficiency gain via repo consolidation and enabling simultaneous multi-app releases. Based in São Paulo, Julio combines deep technical craft with leadership training from XP’s executive program, and he actively mentors developers through simulated agile product sprints.
