Senior🎓
Top SchoolJure Cuhalev is a Technical Lead with 18 years of experience helping organizations build and operate resilient digital platforms, from bespoke Django and React apps to highly customized WordPress sites and full-stack Linux server operations. He combines hands-on engineering—shipping core features, rewriting legacy subsystems, and accelerating CI/test suites—with people-first practices like mentoring, introducing retrospectives, and training teams on Docker, feature flags, and infrastructure security. His work has delivered measurable impact, including six-figure annual savings from CI improvements, 3x faster test runs, a 70% reduction in accounting overhead through automation, and a 40% drop in moderation workload. Comfortable as a long-term remote collaborator, he’s led cross-functional initiatives that span billing/CRM automation, content moderation tooling, and platform consolidations for global audiences. Trained in HCI and entrepreneurship at KTH and a graduate of Seth Godin’s altMBA, he pairs technical depth with product sensitivity and a knack for turning operational pain points into durable, documented solutions. Based in Slovenia, he’s available for contract and freelance engagements and often bridges the gap between ops, code, and people.
