Jurijs Ivolga
Founder at Statusalert.IO
Riga, Latvia
Summary
🤩
RockstarJurijs Ivolga is a founder and seasoned VOIP and infrastructure engineer with 10 years of hands-on experience building resilient telephony and cloud systems. Based in Riga, he has designed and deployed scalable SIP/VoIP networks, MVNOs in Docker, and proactive SIP attack prevention and monitoring tools across roles from lead engineer to consultant. He combines deep protocol-level troubleshooting (SIP, RTP, SRTP, WebRTC) with practical DevOps skills—Docker, OpenVZ, Zabbix, Graylog and SBC integrations—for production reliability. As founder of Statusalert.IO he channels his penchant for "building and breaking things" into an uptime and monitoring product that receives his full-time energy despite being a part-time project. His background includes enterprise engagements (Accenture, BlackBerry/Secusmart) and national interconnect projects, evidencing both customer-facing delivery and low-level systems craft. Not obvious from titles: he repeatedly bridges telephony, scripting (Perl/Python/PHP) and containerization to turn complex telecom requirements into automated, testable services.
