Senior🎓
Top SchoolJustin Baskaran is a pragmatic full-stack software engineer with eight years of experience building scalable backend systems and customer-facing applications across fintech, automotive, and healthcare domains. He moves fluidly between Java/Spring Boot, Python, and modern JavaScript stacks, having delivered greenfield projects that cut timelines and latencies dramatically while integrating complex external APIs. At WEX and consulting engagements he architected secure payment and tokenization services; at Cox Automotive and Capital One he reduced customer attrition and endpoint latency through targeted business logic and performance work. He also led end-to-end mobile and backend development for NHChecklist, shipping Android suites paired with Node.js/React services and operationalized development workflows. A Calvin University CS graduate and active open-source contributor, Justin pairs systems-level thinking with hands-on coding and a knack for turning messy integrations into reliable pipelines. Less obvious: he regularly accelerates teams by quickly ramping on legacy codebases and converting that familiarity into measurable product and revenue improvements.
