Justin Blake
Engineering Manager at 7Factor Software
DeLand, Florida, United States
Summary
👤
SeniorJustin Blake is an engineering manager and longtime full-stack developer with 17 years of professional experience building web and backend systems using PHP, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript/TypeScript and more. He has led distributed teams and driven product growth—from growing GoodRx Gold from a one-dev experiment into a multi-team product to managing cross-functional subscription teams—while recently returning to engineering management roles at The Wanderlust Group and 7Factor Software. Equally comfortable in hands-on coding and people leadership, Justin is now interested in shifting back to an individual contributor role to focus on deep technical impact. An active contributor to the Gren language core team and a veteran consultant, he brings pragmatic architecture, cross-team collaboration, and a maker’s curiosity (his GitHub avatar chicken hints at a playful, detail-minded culture). Based in Florida, he pairs startup agility with enterprise-scale experience delivering customer-facing SaaS and developer-facing tooling.
