Top SchoolJustin Chiou is a senior full-stack engineer and technical leader with over a decade of experience building and scaling production-grade platforms across healthtech, fintech, and education. He combines strong backend expertise in Python and Go with modern front-end skills in TypeScript/Next.js and mobile (Flutter), and has delivered cloud-native architectures, subscription/payment systems, and video streaming integrations. As a former CTO and co-founder he led development of a $2.5M equity crowdfunding platform and handled compliance, escrow, and complex payment flows, demonstrating both product and regulatory savvy. At Dance Vision he standardized subscriptions, payments, analytics, and livestream capabilities while managing a small engineering team and prototyping an IP-driven video player for learning. Early work in biomedical engineering and GE Healthcare gives him a rare mix of rigorous systems thinking, signal-processing experience, and operational problem solving. Based in Charleston, SC, he’s equally comfortable shipping gritty infrastructure improvements and prototyping novel user-facing learning experiences.
