Senior🎓
Top SchoolJustin Flick is a Staff Software Engineer and hands-on engineering leader with 9 years of experience building scalable, performant data platforms and MLOps tooling. He has led teams from startup to enterprise scale—growing a data org from 3 to 30 engineers—and driven data strategy across multi-line insurance products to enable rapid pricing, BI, and model-driven decisioning. Justin has deep practical experience deploying LLM-powered solutions and open-source LLMOps infrastructure, combining generative models, RAG, Model Context Protocols, and graph-backed retrieval for secure, production AI. He consistently pairs architecture-level decisions (GCP, Kubernetes, Rust migrations) with developer productivity improvements that cut costs and deployment time dramatically. Based in Sacramento and a Georgia Tech MSCS alum, he brings both product-minded leadership and direct engineering craft, often shipping prototypes into production himself. An understated strength is his track record of translating experimental ML work into repeatable, cost-saving operational systems.
