Top SchoolJustin Licata is an investor and founder with over a decade of hands-on software engineering and product leadership, building web and mobile products that prioritize simplicity and user experience. As owner of Hardihood Studio and former Lead Software Engineer at Fleetio, he combines deep Ruby on Rails and React expertise with product design sensibilities to guide teams from concept to scalable launch. He’s driven measurable business outcomes—most notably helping Bordo achieve 600% revenue growth after a Next.js rebuild and AI automation—while keeping a designer’s focus on usability. Justin blends technical craft, mentorship, and strategic vision to incubate startups and co-found ventures, and he brings a finance background to product decisions that balance growth with long-term business health. Based in Atlanta, he’s as committed to team development and elegant UX as he is to family time and continuous learning.
