Summary
👤
SeniorJustin Maxwell is a product and design leader with 13 years of experience scaling teams and products across startups and tech giants, now heading Product Operations at Monarch Money. He cofounded and grew Smith.ai from 2 to 600 employees, building the product operations, support org, and company culture along the way. His background spans hands-on UX, design leadership and product management at Mint, Apple, Google and early-stage startups, giving him a rare blend of strategic vision and tactical craft. Known for applying Conway’s Law deliberately, he excels at shaping orgs so product outcomes reflect intentional structure. Based in Portola Valley, he pairs a design-first sensibility with operator instincts and a wry, candid voice that surfaces lessons other leaders might gloss over.
