Top SchoolJustine De Caires is a software engineer with 11 years of experience building high-performance web platforms and developer experience tools from San Francisco. Currently on Notion’s Developer Experience team, she previously led the Home Timeline Performance team at Twitter, driving cross-functional technical strategy and cutting Tweet loading latency by double-digit percentages. She combines deep front-end expertise—shipping PWAs, server-side React rendering, and accessibility features—with a knack for developer tooling and infrastructure that saved engineers hundreds of hours monthly. An active open-source contributor, she maintained and improved Twemoji UI and build processes for the widely used Twitter emoji library. Her background spans product-facing features and low-level algorithmic work (including an NP-complete scheduling solver), reflecting a rare mix of pragmatic product instincts and strong engineering fundamentals.
