Senior🎓
Top SchoolJustine Lam is a product-focused Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco with 11 years of experience building user-centric web applications across the full stack, from React/TypeScript front ends to Node.js and C# microservices. At OpenTable she led internationalization for Experiences, spearheaded repo migrations, and launched the company’s first AWS Lambda service to handle image resizing—work that directly improved global reach and operational efficiency. She pairs a strong engineering craft (testing, scalable APIs, localization) with online marketing instincts, having driven major SEO and campaign projects that boosted traffic and conversions at previous roles. Justine is valued for empathy-driven product decisions, measurable OKR alignment, and a knack for automations that cut repetitive engineering work from hours to minutes. Outside of product work she has organized tech meetups and mentored junior engineers, blending community building with hands-on delivery. Her background in international development and language studies gives her a practical global perspective that informs localization and accessibility efforts.
