Senior🎓
Top SchoolKai-hsin Wu is a Senior Scientific Software Engineer with 9 years of experience bridging quantum many-body research and production-quality software, currently building compiler pipelines and hardware integrations for QuEra’s quantum systems. He holds advanced training in physics (BS/MS, National Taiwan University; PhD work at Boston University) and translates deep theory—topological order, tensor networks, and quantum Monte Carlo—into scalable numerical tools and SDKs. Kai-hsin has substantial C++/Python and CUDA experience, having developed large-scale tensor network libraries and optimized Bloqade SDK components for memory and speed. He combines hands-on compiler and eDSL design with control-system integration and interactive visualization for experimental workflows, making him fluent across research, firmware-adjacent software, and user-facing tools. A detail that sets him apart is his knack for squeezing production performance from research code—turning prototype simulations into efficient, hardware-aware components used in live quantum experiments.
